How to apply for UCT Postgraduate Application 2023 online

The University has made it clear that the postgraduate applications are only possible online and must be submitted at http://applyonline.uct.ac.za.

The Admissions Office is located on Level 4 of the Minigenre Building on Middle Campus and will direct you to a faculty office or department for more information or advice if necessary.

Applications for Student Housing.

The Applications for residential accommodation in the University Of Cape Town campus must be received by September 30, 2022. The application is a requirement for academic admission. Only students who apply for full-time study at the University Of Cape Town UCT are considered for housing. You might want to review the UCT prospectus for a better understanding of how student housing works at UCT.

Funding For South African Postgraduate students

To complete the Postgraduate Funding Application as part of your application for admission to UCT. Please refer to the Postgraduate Funding Office (PGFO) for details: website: www.students.uct.ac.za/students/fees-funding/postgraduate-degree-funding/applications-requirements. The closing dates for the different bursaries and scholarships differ, contact the PGFO for information on the closing dates.

Funding For International Postgraduate students

International and refugee students are eligible for only a limited number of scholarships. This is because, due to budgetary constraints, the international and refugee student scholarships at UCT are not full-cost awards, so please, secure enough financing from other sources. You must first apply for admission to UCT (http://applyonline.uct.ac.za) before continuing with your application for financing from the Postgraduate Funding Office.

The closing date for applications for UCT international and refugee students’ scholarships and supporting documentation is 31 July 2022. See Uct Key dates for more information

Please return the completed Form 10C directly to the Postgraduate Centre and Funding Office.
Late and/or incomplete applications will not be approved.

Funding For GBS Postgraduate students

Postgraduate students can apply for financing through the Graduate School of Business. Visit http://www.gsb.uct.ac.za/funding-scholarships for further information.
